CBSE CTET January 2024 Exam Eligibility Code Details
CTET Primary Level (Class I to V) Eligibility with Code
Eligibility Criteria
1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
2. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms. OR
3. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
4. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility with Code
Eligibility Criteria
1. Bachelor Degree and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
2. At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR
3. Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Norms OR
4. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
5. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed OR
6. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education)
7. Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET OR
8. Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed
How to Fill CTET January 2024 Exam Online Form
To fill out the CTET January 2024 Exam online form, follow the steps below:
Visit the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Look for the CTET Paper I to V & VI to VIII 2023 notification and click on the application link.
The application window is open from 03/11/2023 to 01/12/2023. Ensure to apply within this period.
Note that this year the exam centers are limited in every city, and candidates will see live information about available centers while filling out the form.
To secure a slot in your preferred exam center/city, apply as soon as possible due to the limited availability.
Before proceeding, candidates should thoroughly read the notification for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) application form in Central TET CTET Exam 2024.
