The Bihar Board conducted the Annual Secondary Examination, 2024 across 1,585 examination centers from February 15 to February 23, 2024. 16,64,252 students participated in this examination, comprising 8,58,785 girls and 8,05,467 boys. This year, out of the total students appeared, 13,79,842 students passed the exam, including 6,80,293 boys and 6,99,549 girls, resulting in an overall pass rate of 82.91%.

Shivankar Kumar achieved the highest rank with a score of 489 marks, while Adarsh Kumar from Samastipur claimed the second position.

In the first division, 4,52,302 students passed, with 2,52,846 boys and 1,99,456 girls. Similarly, 5,24,965 students secured the second division, comprising 2,52,121 boys and 2,72,844 girls. 3,80,732 students attained the third division, of which 1,66,093 are boys and 2,14,639 are girls.
