JKSSB Constable Recruitment 2026:- The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the official notification for the recruitment of 1815 Constable (Executive Police) posts. Candidates who have passed 10th class (Matriculation) and fulfill the eligibility conditions can apply online through the official website jkssb.nic.in.
The online application process will begin on 19 January 2026 and will close on 17 February 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th class) from a recognized board.
Domicile Requirement
- Applicant must be a Domicile of Jammu & Kashmir UT.
- A valid domicile certificate must be issued on or before 17 February 2026.
Physical Standards
- Candidates must qualify the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET) as prescribed in the official notification.

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be completed in the following stages:
Stage 1: Written Examination
- Objective-type questions (MCQs)
- Questions will be in English only
- Negative marking: ¼ mark for each wrong answer
- NCC Bonus Marks:
- NCC “C” Certificate – 5%
- NCC “B” Certificate – 3%
- NCC “A” Certificate – 2%
Stage 2: Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Qualifying in nature
- Candidates shortlisted 6 times the number of vacancies category-wise
